OTR holds auditions at the start of the Fall semester in Sepember and again in February before the Spring semester starts up.
 
We're always looking for singers, rappers, and beatboxers who love hip-hop and R&B and having a good time as much as we do!

How do I prepare for 

my OTR audition?

SINGERS

 

​We'll go through some warm-ups with you, ask you to do some listening exercises, and then it's time for your solo! Please prepare a verse and chorus of a song of your choice.

​

RAPPERS

 

Please prepare a faster and slower rap. We'd love to hear original material if you have any, but that's not required!

 

BEATBOXERS

 

Our beatboxers will give you several beats to follow or imitate, and then we'll ask you to accompany us on a portion of one of our songs.
